Hollywood Palace was a lavish variety show that ran Saturday nights on ABC during much of the 1960s. Each week featured a different host with a cavalcade of big name guest stars. This episode is hosted by Adam West, and guest stars Ray Charles, George Carlin, Joey Heatherton, and Roy Rogers & Dale Evans just to name a few. It's a throwback to a form of entertainment you don't see anymore, so it may be an adjustment if you haven't seen this sort of thing before, but it's well worth your time.
And yes, I did say this episode is hosted by Adam West. I am intent on writing a full tribute, but time is a precious commodity, so this will stand as a fine tribute in the interim.
