Day 3 of Sleepy Hollow Week presents a music album by a band named Sleepy Hollow.
Not to be confused with the current heavy metal band of the same name, Sleepy Hollow was the name of a pop/rock trio from my hometown of Philadelphia. This eponymous album from 1972 was the band's only release.
I expected a spooky, psychedelic sound from a band named Sleepy Hollow, but they actually sound quite Beatles-esque. I was pleasantly surprised! It's fun without being trite. It's a cool listen on a light, carefree day.
