On Day 2 of Sleepy Hollow Week, I present a very unusual animated version from 1972.
Narrated by horror movie legend John Carradine, this cartoon is trippy both in its animation style and use of music. It's very much a product of its time, when independent animation took more chances compared to mainstream movie and TV animation.
It's appropriately creepy, as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow should be.
Enjoy!
